I want my students to leave class feeling full and renewed in both bodies and mind.
Hi, my name is Marialyce, but mostly I go by Mary. Mary is simpler and most people know how to pronounce it. Marialyce, well, not so much.
I like to keep things simple. This is how I practice and teach yoga. It is how I like to live my life, simple and uncomplicated. Isn’t life already too complicated? Why complicate our yoga practice too?
In my classes I breakdown the poses that we practice often. We pull them apart, look at the pieces and fit them into our bodies. Then, we put them back together again.
Questions and discussion are always welcome in my classes. I love it when the students are fully engaged in the practice, not only physically but mentally.
I often offer a short yoga nidra meditation practice at the end of my classes as I want my students to leave class feeling full and renewed in both bodies and mind. I like to think they leave class open to enjoy whatever life has to offer. Even if it’s something as simple as a smile when they leave.
