Awareness will serve you more in life than perfecting any fancy-schmancy posture.
Hi, I’m Lisa Acheson, and I love sharing yoga with students interested in a practice that goes beyond just exercise or stretching.
I used to call myself a “fragile-creature” as it seemed like any situation out of the norm would trigger a migraine or exhaustion. Yoga has provided me the tools to find much needed strength and mental focus. In return my entire well-being is much more balanced. I’m able to remain flexible but no longer need to label myself as fragile. And I rarely experience one of those nasty migraines.
My classes are not elaborate or fast-paced, instead we work smart and hard. My intent is that through the quality of your work on your mat, you will generate awareness skills that will serve you more in life than perfecting any fancy-schmancy posture.
I’m always up for a good chat about all things yoga before or after class or even in line at the grocery store. I also love to share my love for real food, holistic health, travel, dogs, family, and our beloved 1978 Volkswagen van.
