Yoga offers me what any good relationship does: joy, honesty, challenge and opportunity for growth.

I wear a few hats — student, teacher, mother, wife and studio owner. Yoga has been a large part of my life for the better part of two decades. I love practicing and I love teaching. I can’t imagine anything else that would suit me so well.
Yoga offers me what any good relationship does: joy, honesty, challenge and opportunity for growth. It provides me a space to do, think, feel and observe. I have found if I put in the work, it continues to give something back. Practice grounds me and opens me up. It inspires my creativity and cultivates patience on the mat and off.
My teaching style is pretty straight forward. I like to think it is clear, dynamic and empowering. Nothing random, no fluff. I like to go after it, whatever that “it” may be. There is an emphasis on being present and cultivating quality in the work. I hope that my students come away from practice, feeling better and with a greater understanding of themselves and their capabilities.
At home, my husband Fred, daughter Evan, son Frankie, and yellow lab “Toes” give me daily doses of love and learning. Aside from yoga I enjoy a good read, preparing and eating good food and travel.
